September Carolan items now at Secret Oktober

Hello.

Wow, I have not updated in a while, so much has gone on in the past month or so.
First off, if you are in the Austin, TX area you will find a small selection of September Carolan items now at Secret Oktober

They are selling fast so hurry before they are gone!

Also, there are a few new items going up on my etsy shop, I can't really say when because my supplies diminish fast and I want to list many at once.

A few posts back I had mentioned a swimsuit tutorial, well after doing much research, I found there are quite a few swimsuit tutorials already out there. One I found in particular (that I totally forgot about until after I made my own swimsuit) was one from the late-great online podcast "Threadbanger".
They show you how to make a vintage inspired swimsuit out of a polo shirt:

Even though I didn't do a tutorial, I still want to post one, what it will be on, that has yet to be determined.

I started this post early in the day then the rest of the day happened so once I got back to finishing this post it was after 10pm, so I'm going to rest my migraine head...no Excedrin this time.

::handmade wares inspired by the dark side of cute::

Twirl the night away with this beautiful ballerina inspired Wrap-Around Tutu Skirt by September Carolan.

Hand-Gathered Tutu Wrap Around Skirt

This flowing ballerina style Tutu Skirt is so easy to wear, with its wrap-around drawstring waistband you can wear it over a leotard or under an over-sized sweater for a ballet recital, it's adjustable for layering or as a standalone accent.
A soft black satin waistband gives this skirt an elegant touch while giving it a subtle shine to turn heads while out dancing.
Secured with a wide ribbon of sheer black organza/organdy, its hardy texture allows for tight bows without slipping undone.
This gorgeous Tutu is ready for any occasion and with two in-facing layers, there is no wrong way to wear this skirt.
Each hand-gathered layer is sewn with a double-ruffle hem for extra poof.
Wear it to the club, as a costume, or turn heads at your recital; this Wrap-Around Tutu is one fun skirt you'll find any excuse to wear.
